Ski racing, like other sports, requires time and patience in learning fundamentals. During the learning process it should be the goal of all to make learning an exciting experience for the race students. Coaches encourage the skier to learn from every opportunity and find the positive aspect in their skiing and racing skills. The focus will be on developing well-rounded skills for all levels of skiers, prepare them for the technical and physical demands of racing to their ability in a safe and competitive ski team setting and encourage a love of skiing.
S.W.A.T. trains at Alpine Valley Ski Resort located in East Troy, Wisconsin (click here for map). Alpine Valley Resort is one of the largest ski resorts in Southeastern Wisconsin. Many programs within SWAT could not happen without the parents, Alpine Valley and sponsors. The SWAT parents, Alpine Valley and sponsors do a lot more than offer funding for the organization; they provide essential support, including equipment, and services.
